Our workshop is in Surat, Gujarat, India. Bluequeen Jewels LLC is registered in Casper, Wyoming, which is the entity you contract with. We have no showroom, office or representative in Los Angeles or its Jewelry District. Orders are made in India and shipped insured to your LA address.
How custom commissions work at distance
Most LA work that comes to us starts as a photograph, and the process is built around removing the risk that creates. You send the reference and the specification, we come back with questions about proportion and stone size, we model it and send renders, and nothing is cast until you have approved what you are looking at. For a piece going to a named customer, that render is also what you show them.
The trade-off is honest: a local bench can turn a rush commission faster. What you get in exchange is a cost base that lets you quote a customer competitively on a heavily-set piece, and setting quality on high stone counts that is genuinely hard to buy cheaply.

No. We manufacture in Surat, India and ship to you. We have no LA presence of any kind, and would rather say so than imply otherwise.
Can you make a piece from a photo my customer brought in?
Yes, that is a large share of what we do for LA businesses. We will not copy another company’s protected design, but reworking a style with your own proportions and stones is normal work.
Can you set stones into a watch a customer already owns?
Yes. Read the warranty warning on our watch page first and make sure your customer understands it before the watch is sent.
Silver or solid gold for iced-out chains?
For most LA price points, 925 silver with quality plating is the right commercial call. Solid gold is right when the customer is buying something they will wear daily for years. We will tell you which we would choose.
Can I order one piece rather than a run?
Yes for custom commissions. Single-piece work is normal in this category.
How do I check quality before committing to a line?
Order one sample and inspect it yourself. On heavily-set work it is the only check that actually tells you anything.
