Stones have to sit level. The links have to carry real weight without the clasp failing. None of that is visible in a rendered image, which is why so many US retailers have a drawer of returns from a supplier that photographed well.

Silver or solid gold — the decision that drives your returns rate

A 925 sterling silver base with quality plating puts an iced-out piece at a price a broad customer base will actually pay, and for most chain and statement work that is the right commercial call. Solid gold costs considerably more and is right when the customer is buying something they will wear daily for years, where plating wear becomes a real complaint.

We will tell you which we would choose for your price point and your customer rather than simply quoting what you asked for. Getting this wrong produces returns, and returns cost more than the margin difference.

Every piece is checked across the full setting rather than spot-checked. We look at stone security on every row, alignment and uniformity where a single tilted baguette is immediately visible, clasp and link strength on chains that carry real weight, plating coverage and evenness on silver pieces, and metal weight against the agreed specification.

Custom commissions and repeat runs

Most of this category is custom. Send a reference image, a sketch or a written brief and we develop it, send renders for approval, and manufacture once you have signed off.
