There is a long chain between an Indian workshop and a US retail counter, and most of it is made of middlemen. A trading house buys from the factory, a distributor buys from the trading house, and by the time a price reaches you it has carried three margins that added no craftsmanship to the piece.

We are the workshop. When you buy wholesale from Bluequeen Jewels you are buying from the bench that casts, sets and finishes the jewelry, which means the person quoting you can also tell you what the piece weighs, why a stone spec changes the price, and whether a design will hold up in production.

How wholesale pricing works

Jewelry does not have a fixed list price, and any supplier who gives you one before knowing your spec is guessing. Three things move the number on every quote we send:

• Metal weight and karat. A 14K piece and an 18K piece of the same design are different products commercially. Gold is priced by weight against the market rate on the day.
• Stone specification. Carat, cut, clarity and whether the stone is lab-grown diamond or moissanite all change the cost materially.
• Quantity. Setting up a run has fixed costs. Ten of the same piece is cheaper per unit than one, and we will show you where that curve bends for your design.

Send us the pieces you are considering and the quantities you have in mind, and you will get a quote against your actual specification rather than a headline price that would not apply to you.

Catalogs, photography and video

We supply product images for the pieces we manufacture for you, so you are not photographing stock yourself before you can list it. For custom and private-label work we can provide images of your own production run rather than generic catalogue shots. Start with the product catalog to see the current range.

Order a sample before you commit

For any piece you have not bought from us before, we would rather you held one first. A sample order lets you check the finish, the weight in the hand, the stone quality and the setting security against your own standards before you place a larger order. It is the cheapest form of quality control available to you, and it makes the conversation about a bulk run much shorter.

Reordering and restocking

Once a piece has been produced for you, we keep the specification on file. A repeat order is then a matter of confirming quantity rather than re-specifying the product, and the piece you receive on the third run matches the one you received on the first. For a retailer, that consistency is the difference between a line you can build a display around and a line you cannot.

Quality control

Every piece is inspected before packing. We check stone security across the setting, the finish and polish, the metal weight against the agreed specification, and clasp and closure function on chains and bracelets. Where a piece is built around a certified stone, the certificate is checked against the piece before dispatch.

Shipping to the United States

Orders ship from Surat by insured international courier to your US address. We prepare the export documentation, commercial invoice and packing list your customs broker needs. Import duties and applicable taxes are the buyer’s responsibility unless we have agreed otherwise in writing on your order.
